The ShawnMichele Company is committed to not only bringing you the finest quality pet products, but also keeping your information private. We do not share your personal information with outside parties. There may be times when an item will be shipped directly to you from the manufacture for us; we will only share the information necessary for them to do so. We may contact you from time to time regarding your order status or about products or specials that we think you may be interested in. If you do not wish to receive these notifications, please email us and we will remove you from our mailing list. We will treat your privacy as if it were our own and you can rest assured we do not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above.

We at ShawnMichele have taken every safeguard to ensure that your online shopping experience at shawnmichelepets.com is as secure as possible. Placing an order through our shopping cart is as secure as ordering by phone, but we know and understand that sometimes you may have questions and want to speak to a real person. Please call our customer care number at: (760) 402-3425 Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am - 5:00 pm PST. If no one is available to assist you or if it is after hours, please leave your name, phone number, date and time of day along with a detailed message and we will return the call as soon as possible.

Shipping and Returns Policy
◊ Shipping & Delivery
Our main shipping carrier is UPS and standard shipping is ground. Items that are in-stock usually ship within two - three business days and should arrive within three to ten business days depending upon your location. You will be emailed your tracking number at the end of the same business day your package ships. Some items may be shipped directly from our Suppliers/Manufacture and for that reason may take longer or items ordered together may not ship together in the same box. Some items may require longer delivery/lead time as some of our suppliers make their product by hand, or the item may be imported. We will try to keep you informed if there will be a delay in the shipping. If your order or part of your order is on back order we will contact you with an estimated shipping date.
We offer free ground shipping for any order over $100 or more. We may use UPS ground or sometimes USPS for our free promotional shipping.
We are based in San Diego County in the city of Vista. We are currently offering only to San Diego county residents free shipping when shipped to address in the San Diego county. Please use coupon code: SANDIEGO. Just enter the code when you are ready to check out. Sorry but you can only use one coupon code per order.
If no one will be available to sign for your package, we suggest you have your package shipped to your workplace, a business, or any location where someone can sign for your package.
Standard shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (may take additional time for delivery) unless you request express shipping.
At this time we only ship to North America.
◊ Express Shipping
Second day and overnight delivery is available upon request. We will make every effort to ship same day for express shipping but if we are not able for any reason to ship same day your package will go out the next business day. Second day or overnight express delivery may not be available for items shipped directly from our suppliers. We will contact you if that option is not available.
◊ Order status & Tracking
To track a package or check on your order status, you must first sign in to your personal account using your user name and password. Please note that if you did not place your order using a customer account, tracking and order details may not be available. If you prefer you can send a message just by clicking on the Contact Us page. Fill in the required information and in the comment field be sure to put your order number along with your question or concern. We will make every effort to contact you within 3 business days or less.
If you should receive a package damaged during shipping please contact our staff; customersupport@shawnmichelepets.com immediately as well as the delivery company within 3 business days. Be sure to save all damaged packaging for inspection by the delivery company.
◊ Sales Tax
The current sales tax is charged for all purchases with a billing or shipping address in California.
◊ Return & Exchange Policies
ShawnMichele accepts returns of merchandise within 15 business days from date you receive your order that is in new unused condition and has never been worn or washed. Soiled/used/worn or washed merchandise will not be accepted. If we receive a return and it is not in new unused condition in its original packaging with all accessories, tags attached and original packing list it will be refused and returned to you.
Please refer to our size chart to help you measure your pet as accurately as possible as we only allow one complimentary exchange per order due to incorrect size.
All sale/clearance items, personalized, custom, or special orders, video tapes, books and due to health concerns toys, carriers, crates, crate pads, beds, blankets and all perishable items are final and not exchangeable or returnable.
If you are the original purchaser you may request a credit for merchandise returned or we will be happy to exchange for different item/size of equal value. Gift items may only be returned for a store credit with proof of purchase or original order number along with name of customer who purchased the item. All product conditions for returning gift items apply as listed above.
Please do not send your package back without contacting ShawnMichele first as you will need a RMA number for your return. Please contact us by clicking on the Contact Us page for a return authorization if you would like to exchange or return an item. Fill in the required informaiton and in the comment field please put your order number, email address used when you placed your order and reason for the return or exchange. I’m sorry but we do not refund the cost of your return shipping charges. It is the customer’s responsibility to return the product to ShawnMichele and we recommend shipping your item back with some sort of tracking as we are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages being sent back to ShawnMichele.
◊ Product Defects
Most products have warranties from the manufacturer. If there are any quality issues or defects, please contact us and we will contact the manufacturer directly for warranty info and repairs.
◊ Store Hours
Our office hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm PST Monday - Friday.
Our warehouse hours are from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm PST Monday - Friday.
◊ Miscellaneous
Some of our vendors offer custom work depending upon the item and or size. Just use the contact us page and in the comment section please list the Brand, the item number if you have it, the description of the item, color, and size that you need. We will contact you with pricing and availability and if that manufacture/distributor offers custom work. We will make every effort to meet your needs. All custom, personalized or special orders are final and are not exchangeable or returnable.

From time to time we may advertise coupon codes good for limited time offers and discounts. To redeem a coupon, enter the code at the Check Out section. Coupons may not be combined or used in multiples on an order.
