Is the shampoo safe for puppies?
Yes, the shampoo has a coconut shampoo base, which is the same type of base used in baby shampoos. There are no harsh detergents, synthetic perfumes or artificial colors so it is extremely mild making it safe for the most tender skin.
Will the shampoo wash off Frontline or Advantage?
No, because there are no harsh detergents, it will not wash off these products. Just follow the directions on the box and wait at least 24 hours after applying to bathe your dog.
The shampoo is a Conditioning Shampoo - do dogs need the extra conditioner?
Dogs with long hair tend to get tangled and matted so the extra conditioning agents make the coat/hair more manageable. The conditioner can also be used to make the coat/hair extra soft and shiny.
How do you use soap on your dog?
The same way you would use a bar of soap on yourself. Just rub it directly on the dog and it creates a rich lather or use a sponge to lather and then rub on the dog.
What type of wax is used in the candle?
It is made from soy and palm vegetable waxes.
Does the candle wick contain zinc?
No, it is made from a paper blend. You may notice that the candle smoke upon extinguishing. This is due to the high level of pure essential organic oils that the candle contains. To reduce the amount of smoke, keep the wick trimmed and re-cover the lid when extinguishing.
What is a hot spot and how are Peppermint and Tea Tree oils a natural remedy?
Hot spots are a raw skin disorder caused by bacteria. If a dog's skin is broken by a cut or bite, the moist environment for bacteria to grow can be created. These oils kill the bacteria and fungus on the skin; thereby, helping to unblock the gland and encouraging the flow of the body's own moisturizing oils.
